Akkodis is seeking an IT Project Manager for a contract position with our Fortune 500 banking client.
Location: Hybrid in Kennesaw, GA; three dates a week in office.
Rate: $60-$62.09/hr W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Overview:
This team manages the Merchant Services portfolio, to include the Healthcare Payment Solutions (HPS) and Merchant Business Software Suite (MBSS) programs, which are housed within the Enterprise Payments Tech (EPT) division of Global Tech. The team is comprised of Project Managers, Intake Analysts, Program Managers, Release Managers, Change Coordinators and Technology Analysts which ensure that the cost, schedule and scope across projects/programs are appropriately managed as planned by Tech and Business leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams.
• Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables.
• Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline.
• Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, and so on).
• Gather/facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.
• Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.
• Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards.
• Support resource planning for delivery/execution.
Desired Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of IT project management experience
• Merchant services experience
• Knowledge of Payments or Financial Services space
• Experience with JIRA, ALM, and MS Project
• Experience delivering large projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business, that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications
• Experience driving multiple projects simultaneously
• Agile experience strongly desired
